THIS OFFERING IS FOR ONE (1) HARTLEY GALAXIE SADDLE.
We have utilized this as an Amazing Conversation Piece / Display piece within our family room. So if your home needs something rustic to jazz up a room…
In actuality we are not horse people, nor know the first thing about riding… Without a restoration we would not recommend this Saddle to be utilized on a horse.
So if a prospective buyer is considering this as a purchase please know this hasn’t been utilized in about a dozen years on a horse. This Saddle has some obvious issues (even to us non-equestrian people) that should give a prospective buyer who wants to consider this for riding pause… That’s  why its listed as either as a * Restoration Project or * Display Piece, (as we used it).

This is an Attractive Antique & Original Saddle that needs to be restored or leave like it is for display.
Please see pictures and ask any questions but i Do need to Mention thatI dont know anything about saddles.
You are bidding on a Pre-Owned Vintage Saddle with Stirrups.
I am selling this as a Restoration Project, Display Saddle or for parts.
We must mention that we are not saddle/horse people. We are trying to find a new Appropriate home for this antique saddle.
It does have issues from what we can tell and we want to be very upfront about that.
If you see a picture of that accentuating something it’s doing so because we want to draw your attention to a possible issue.
Whether it’s leather that should be secured to another piece of leather, we are just guessing…
Like Previously mentioned we are not Saddle people… for that main reason we are selling this as a display piece or as a restoration product not as something that could be used out of the box.

The leather seem ok,
Leather is a bit dry. Possibly needs to be oiled.

I would not consider this saddle sound for riding as currently shown.
This would be a great display piece & an even better edition to a collector who had an interest in restoring it.
This is an older Saddle that’s an Interesting Conversation piece in questionable riding
shape.
Look great Displayed, We’ve Displayed it for years. For display it doesn’t need to be cleaned up &/or restored.  Like previously mentioned we’ve displayed it for years to Great Compliments !
The Hartley Galaxie was a limited saddle made by Harry Dabbs. Made from Supple Leather.

Any & all signs of wear / condition are commensurate with this offerings age.
Over the Years it’s been on Display & a Guest within our Pet-free Smoke-free Home, so no retained odors…
