Pin area precision ground to prevent any "binding" in work area
Modified parabolic head directs the striking force to the center of the tool for greater resistance to "mushrooming" and "chipping"
Black oxide finish with 2 polished panels for easy size identification and visible "wear safety goggles" reminder
Hex stock fits more securely in a punch & chisel holder and also reduces the tendency to roll on work surfaces
Meets or exceeds ASME B107.48m and US Federal Spec. GGG-P-831F
