  • Condition: Very scuffed on top of cantle and along front edges. A little stiff at the bottom of both sweat flaps. One button is loose.

    USED Pessoa Classic Close Contact Saddle - 17"
    I spoke with Pessoa.  They believe the saddle was built around 1990.  It has a medium spring tree and a 17" seat.  Small front blocks (picture 5).  Flap measures 13.5".  Overall it is in good shape.  Serial #
    492D1678.
    Cons:
    It was a bit dry when I bought it.  I have gone over it twice with Leather Therapy Conditioner.  The leather softened back up but still has a bit of a curl.
    The cantle, pommel and around the front edge are very scuffed (pictures 6, 7 and 8).
    There is a button starting to come loose (see picture 12).
    Pros:
    Billet straps are in excellent shape
    Original billet guards are present
    No leather cracking that I can see.
    Balanced saddle for not much money.  Great for the beginning rider or the rider on a budget.
